Babbu Maan, real name Tejinder Singh Maan, also known as Khantwala Maan, is a Punjabi singer, actor, songwriter and film producer. He was born on March 29, 1975 in Khantwala Maan District Fatehgarh Sahib of Punjab.

His father was the late Babu Singh Man and his mother was the late Kulbir Kaur. He completed his schooling at a village school while completing his master’s degree. Urdu from Punjab University Chandigarh. Babbu Maan loved singing since childhood, so when he was 7 years old, he gave a performance where he sang the lyrics of the song for the first time.

Babbu Maan Biography:

Babbu Maan is the only Punjabi singer who sings his own lyrics with his own amazing music. Babbu Maan is widely known for his distinctive music and lyrics. Now he is one of the great Punjabi singers who has brought new trends to Bhangra music. His sad songs are incredibly moving, urban, and in tune with synchronized Punjabi music like no one else has been able to create. Currently, he is an established Punjabi pop singer, composer, lyricist, playback his singer and actor.

Babbu Maan (born 29 March, Tejinder Singh Maan) is a Punjabi singer-songwriter, actor and producer. Born in the village of Khant Maanpur in the Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab, India, Babbu Maan has loved music since childhood and sang on stage for the first time at the age of seven at a school event at his village school.

He looked at everything with the eyes of a musician, turning the pot into a musical instrument with rhythmic sounds. He learned to write lyrics during his school days (University of Punjab, Chandigarh) and learned around the age of 16. After his college graduation, he started singing and composing. He is one of the few singers who writes the lyrics for all his songs himself. He sang at Mavi Music Recording Studio and recorded his first album when he was just 23 years old.

Babbu Maan Career:

Babbu Maan debuted in 1998 with the album Sajjan Rumal De Giya. Dissatisfied with the album, he returned to the drawing board and rewrote many of the songs, many of which were re-released on subsequent albums. His second album Tu Meri Miss India released in 1999 was a huge hit.

His third album Saaun Di Jhadi released in 2001 was a very successful album. It sold over 10 million copies in India alone, and even more abroad.

In 2003, Babbu Maan was selected as the actor and music director for the movie Howein, alongside favorite singer Sukhwinder Singh. The film was a huge success. His album Ohi Chann Ohi Rataan followed. The album also did well in both reviews and sales. Pyass was his next album.

In 2006, Babbu Maan launched his first playback film Rabb Ne Banayien Jodeian, the song which gave Mahn another hit. Mera Gham is a very successful Hindi album. It focused on slow, romantic, sad songs and happy songs. The song “Ek Raat/One Night Stand” shocked many listeners, but despite this, the song has a very catchy beat.

Maan appeared in the New Year’s special Aao Saare Nachiye, which was also very successful. Part 1 was published in 2008 and Part 2 in 2009. Maan’s film Hashar, a Love Story was the biggest hit of his career so far. The song was also a hit. Babbu recently released the religious album Singh Better Than King. One of his songs from this album ‘Ik Baba Nanak Si’ was banned by the government. A television poll followed, with 80% of people supporting Bab His Maan, 6% supporting censoring the song, and 14% not voting.

In 2009, when Babbu Maan sought to expose the ‘fake baba’ through his music ‘Ik Baba Nanak Si’, he received widespread support from the Sikh community, but since then he has been supported by several organizations.
